CNC Equipment
Fanuc RoboDrill 4th Axis
This machine was purchased new in December 2010. The T21iFLa performs tool changes in 1.6 seconds and rigid tapping at 5,000 RPM. The 21 tools snap in quickly and support quick set ups. As a side note, this equipment is made 100% by robotics and the durability and service needs are second to none in the industry. By May, we expect to have a 2nd drill installed and operational. |
Nakamura-Tome WT-150 Lathe
This machine was purchased new in January, 2009. This lathe is a twin spindle, twin turret model minus live tooling. This lathe is able to bar pull material up to 2 1/4” in diameter. With the added optional part catcher, this lathe allows us to turn parts complete, without constantly loading new raw material. The dual turrets allow for turning on both spindles simultaneously, greatly increasing productivity and efficiency. |
Matsuura H-Plus 405 Horizontal Mill
This machine was purchased new in October 2005. It is capable of running 1,968 inches per minute at speeds up to 12,000 rpm. The 80-tool capacity allows us to leave tooling setup for jobs run on a frequent basis. This machine is equipped with the latest technology, including laser tool setting, conversational programming, and remote monitoring. We can run parts as large as 23 inches in X, Y, and Z, and the .001 degree indexing table uses an induction scale and is capable of simultaneous 4th axis machining. |
Mori Seiki SH-400 Horizontal Mill
This machine allows us to run multiple operations, using up to 40 tools. The speed, accuracy, and efficiencies of this machine can reduce normal production times up to 75%. At 12,000 rpm, this equipment can handle dimensions up to 22 inches on the “x” axis and up to 20 inches on the “y” axis. Our horizontal mills utilize compatible tooling and fixtures too allow for individual part numbers to be machined on either mill. |
Matsuura 800V Plus
This machine was purchased new in July, 2004. This vertical mill has high- speed coolant through the spindle that allows us to run larger jobs, faster. Tools are changed in less than a second and the rapid movement is some of the quickest in the industry. This machine has enabled jobs with large material cutting
to run quicker and more efficiently. It operates up to 12,000 rpm. |
Matsuura 600VF Vertical Mill
This machine is very reliable and offers flexibility in setups. It allows us to perform larger quantity runs with the tougher metals. This machine is equipped with an indexer. |
Matsuura 800VF Vertical Mill
This machine is the “workhorse” of the shop. The 15,000-rpm spindle significantly reduces production time for long-run soft metal parts. |
Mori Seiki Lathes, SL-150 & SL-15
These machines are both durable and reliable, focusing on parts with very tight tolerances. Their size capability using a chuck is 10 inches in diameter and 20 inches long. The spindle can handle 1 5/8 inch diameter material, for handling large production runs, using an automatic bar puller. |
Mori Seiki TV-30 Drill/Tap
This machine is a high speed light duty mill. It can tap multiple hole patterns faster than conventional machining centers. |
